Part 1: ResearchStakeholders. Remember, research stakeholders are often individuals who are currently conducting research within this field of study. They have a wealth of knowledge in both the topic area and research. You should select people who have completed research on your topic/population.

Part 2: Policy Stakeholders. Remember, policy stakeholders are often individuals who promote policy changes, encourage advocacy, or enforce policies. They are working to advance change for the community as a whole (local, state, or federal).

2. Indicate this person’s current position/role/affiliation. For example, is the person a State Senator, a President of a nonprofit organization, etc. (1 point).

Part 4: Dissemination Plans. Imagine you have just completed your research study and need to communicate your findings to the broader research, policy, and practice communities (not just your 2 examples listed above). Remember, there are certain methods that are common to each of these stakeholder groups. Be sure to review your Dissemination lecture notes to assure that you pick the correct type of dissemination plan.
