Cognition: Inattentional Blindness and Scientific Methods
The first step is to watch the short clip and follow the instructions to complete the task. Please do this first before reading the assigned articles. Question 1 is directly related to the clip and careful reading of the three articles is required for answering questions 2-4. Questions 5-8 are bigger picture questions. You can refer to the three articles when answering questions 5-8 when relevant, but questions 5-9 require more reflection and a deeper thinking that goes beyond questions 1-5. Question 9 is worth the most points because this is where you show integration with concepts and methods, constructive criticism, application of the scientific method, and creativity.
