Some of the global challenges that we have studied this session are global environmental change, technology and global health/the social dimensions of COVID-19. Please choose one of them, and critically analyze how structural factors (such as colonialism, racial capitalism, gender inequality, etc.) impact the distinctive ways in which people around the world live with or experience this challenge. Additionally, mention some of the responses to the challenge that have emerged from different collectives, social movements or communities.

First, create three claims you could make in response to the question–one of fact, one of value, and one of policy. Then choose one of those claims to take through the From Claim to Draft process. Develop your outline into an essay draft of at least 500 words. NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE 3 CLAIMS, POLICY, FACT AND VALUE, AND THEN PICK ONE OF THEM TO WRITE THE ESSAY, IN MLA FORMAT.
EXAMPLES OF CLAIMS:
Claim of fact: the sun provides solar heat and light.
Claim of policy: we should implement more uses for solar energy due to its long term low cost use.
Claim of value: Solar energy is a great energy source.
