International Project
Purpose: Every country has a different kind of educational system. When I was in Argentina I saw that any and every student who wanted to be a physician could go to medical school, but there were no tutors or special he lp – it was sink or swim. On the other hand, it was socialized medicine and those same physicians made about $30K a year. Doctors cannot be sued but they also made way less money. In Germany, students who wanted to be engineers went to a technical type of training (our engineers go to schools like Georgia Tech and, despite the name, it is not a technical school). This assignment is designed to help you compare educational systems and see what strategies we can consider for our schools to improve education and accessibility to education.
Task: Identify the country you want to study. Research your country’s educational system. Write a whitepaper to compare and contrast the Albany, Georgia and the country educational systems. Think about best practices in ECEC education and highlight at least two practices used in your country that could be implemented in Albany, Georgia. Then considertwo practices that are used in Albany, Georgia that could be applied in your country. In your whitepaper, describe plan that could be used to share the best practices and would allow you to collect data from the project.
