Save the assignment Assignment2.xls to your desktop. Complete the assignment and attach the excel when submitting the assignment. Mock Code Book
1. Identify a research topic
2. Identify 15 variables
3. Identify how you would operationalize each variable (the attributes)
4. Assign codes for each Attribute
5. Identify the Level of Measurement (must have 5 nominal, 5 ordinal and 5 interval/ratio) Example

**NOTE: I could operationalize this differently (as with any variable). This is up to you based on what LOM you want, what you are looking for with the variable, and other factors. For example, with the above I could have operationalized it as: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and other. However, you do have to justify why you would broaden or narrow the operational definition. An example of how you operationalize a variable changing the LOM is: age. If you operationalize it as a range (0-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc.) you would have to assign codes to each range and the LOM would be ordinal. If your operational definition is the exact age, this would be ratio and no coding would be necessary, as the age itself is the number that would be entered into the dataset.

Mock Data Set
1. Create at minimum 10 cases in the second tab (Data Set) utilizing the codes for each variable
-List your variables across the top. Use the codes to fill in each variable for each case.
2. Using your data set, create a research question and hypothesis
I have attached a sample Data Set and Code book of Stop Question and Frisk from 2012 in NYC for references (65,536 cases and 116 variables).
