Class, this week we will be discussing the role of the school health nurse. Your assignment this week is a PowerPoint presentation. Please make sure with power point presentations you consider adding graphics, color in addition to relevant information. A power point is meant to engage an audience and inform them. Keep in mind the rule of 7 associated with PowerPoint: No more than seven words per line and seven lines per slide. Also remember instructors cannot see the notes section of the PowerPoint. Include information and citations on the slide.

Assignment:
Design a PowerPoint presentation for high school aged students discussing normative aging changes, sexuality, Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and prevention.
- Discuss normal body changes that occur through puberty into young adulthood
Make sure you address both male and female changes
- Discuss specific STDs, causes, symptoms, complications, and treatment:
**You should include a slide or two for each of the following: Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Herpes, (Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Syphilis, & Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
- Discuss pregnancy and prevention
The assignment should be submitted in PowerPoint format, with at least 10 content slides including the objective and conclusion slides (in addition to a title slide and reference slide), and include at least two scholarly sources other than provided materials.
Remember scholarly sources should be current (within the last 5 years) and .com websites should be avoided
