The rise of divorce in America can be linked to various factors
1. 8-10 sources: 2 books and the rest finished out with magazines, newspapers, websites of the newspaper or magazine. The date range for sources: 2015-present.
2. The introduction should be a half page long with examples and statistics, depending on the topic. Remember, the introduction’s only purpose is to introduce the topic, giving background information and the thesis. The points of the paper which will be discussed in the body paragraphs must not appear in the introduction unless a plan of development is done, following the thesis. The thesis statement must be the last sentence of the introduction. There must be a smooth transition from the introduction to the thesis.
3. The thesis and the topic statements must be bold or italicized. Also, each body paragraph of support must have a clear, concise topic statement that appears at the beginning of the paragraph which should reflect the thesis. Also, there MUST be transition sentences at the end of each body paragraph.
4. You must have 8-10 pages. You must use the conventions of MLA documentation. There must be paraphrases, direct quotes, and 2 block quotes, and which shall not exceed a half page. Each must be effectively integrated into your discussion. Do not use them to repeat what you are establishing. Use them to further substantiate your points via examples, statistics, and expert opinions. Do not let one source carry the load.
5. The conclusion must summarize the major points of your paper.
6. Finally, every source listed on the works cited page must be accounted for in the text of the paper. Document everybody and everything you use — directly quoted or placed in your own words (paraphrased). Also, the works cited page must be flawless. Every element including periods, web addresses, page numbers, and ( ,publisher, and copyright year for books) must be in place. This will be graded heavily like the text of the paper.
7. Use only Times New Roman 12 fonts. The paper must be double spaced only.
