Background: Throughout the study of American literature through the lens of the American dream, it is evident that the success and failure of the American dream is determined by perseverance, compassion , morality, and a willingness to give, so others may also thrive. Those who were successful in pursuing the American Dream often lived in community, trusted those around them, and did not find the success of others to be their failure.
Social Issue: The purpose of this paper is to write an argument paper that explores the political and cultural background of a social issue throughout American history. You will need to trace the various laws that have been created and how they have impacted society as well as demonstrate an understanding of your target demographic. You will be deciding, from a national and research perspective, the correct solution to help solve your problem. It is important to note that the solution is not something you can personally do, but an idealized vision of what could be done on the national stage.
