The scenario for your assignment:
You are a community living in the Neolithic (and/or Chalcolithic) period in the Ancient Near East (‘Fertile Crescent’, Anatolian plateau/Taurus Mountains, Mesopotamia). Your village is located in a good spot for resources, so you do not want to relocate, but your population has increased to the point that you need to organize and build a larger settlement. The leaders of your community (your Team members) have come together to discuss what needs to be done and how to ensure your community can sustain its current population and prosper.
What to do
Using Çatal Hüyük as your primary model, discuss how you should organize and build your settlement. Please consider the 6 questions below, but feel free to include other ideas in your report.
do not forget to support your answers with the available evidence (from Çatal Hüyük supplemented by evidence from other Neolithic sites in the Near East).

Family life and daily life: who lives in your house, what do you eat and where do you process foodstuffs, where/how do you acquire and produce your food, where do you sleep, what are your burial practices?
