Analyzing Child Information 

im going to describe my case study child’s strengths, one day yarah was sitting on the table watching the other children play she was afraid of talking to them and the other children were playing all together so i kept watching yarah to see if she was going to join them but she didn’t so i decided to put kids music on and called all the children to dance together then yarah had a big smile on her face that i would never forget ever since then she not afraid of talking anymore and she made friends. idon’t like when the child in my class uncomfortable or afraid of something i love to see them all happy and comfortable to be coming here everyday.

 

 

Section 1-Analyzing Child Information –

 

Yarah is the only child she has no siblings , she is close to her grandmother. When her mom and dad go to work she stay with her grandmother she has no friends and she never go outside and she almost don’t got any relationship with anyone and that makes her a shy child she sit lonely. She watch the children and don’t know how to talk to them that’s why she’s afraid to talk she also afraid to say she thirsty nor hungry.

 

Yarah is a smart girl she has a lot of skills and she has a beautiful smile yarah has to feel comfortable and she has to feel like she’s at her other house, when I talk to her more than ones her answer always make sense she has a perfect way to answer when she feels like there’s something wrong happening she stand on a corner and she tries to self-defense. When she stop playing with her toys she starts putting it away and she clean the spot she was playing at but she never let other children to play with her or to help her she always stay alone to her self.

 

She has to stop being afraid I always try to make yarah feel even more comfortable and safe to sit with other children and eat her food together, play together, and I have To start .sharing stories with her and start communicating with her and the other children or watch a Disney movie with everyone together And start asking the children questions. Yaras is going to be so excited to answer the question because she is smart. Yarah watched the story of the movie she was so excited and I think that she’s going to give more information than the others. When yarah answers my questions I’m going to show her how happy I am that she answered my question and I’m also going to make the children to talk about the questions to each other, I’m going to make one of the children to ask yarah a question so I can make her get rid of being shy.

 

I talked to yarah’s parents about her being afraid and shy to talk to other children            also her sitting alone and not feeling safe, she always ask when her parents and her grandmother going to pick her up and she also never tries to communicate with other children. Her parents said that because when she were born she always was with her parents and her grandmother and she had no friends and her parents had no friends to go to or to invite to their house, when they go to work her grandmother always go to her house to watch her until the parents go back home after work. Her grandmother leaves and they said that they sit with her for a short time and then yarah goes to sleep and in the weekend they go shopping and she stays with her grandmother and when they go back they start cleaning the house and that’s how the week end and that’s how her week go and how she always lonely she also never go somewhere unless its her doctor appointments. After that I talked to her parents on how we are supposed to fix this problem and she needs to put her trust in other, to feel safe, and I asked her parents to communicate with the other children parents that the same age as yarah and at the end of the week to hangout with each other to communicate more. After everything when yarah came me and her parents decided to fix this problem which is by talking to her and tell her that she’s suppose to share with other children and play with them and have fun with them without being shy.

 

Yarah parents decided to work with me to fix this problem to help their child of not being shy and being afraid to talk. So they decided to make her communicate with the pair her which is the children her age, with that she suppose to do the activities with the other children. Her parents started making her go to places that had children in it and sit with her to communicate and listen to her. They started asking her questions about everything then her mother and her grandmother started playing with her and sit together to share food then .yarah started not being shy but she was a little, the she started getting closer to the children and eat with them at the table she were also sharing some toys with the children then she started getting excited to come to me and she started building a beautiful house from the blocks with one of the children and were so excited to come everyday to finish building the house.

 

I asked her parents to sit more with yarah and ask her questions so they can communicate and I asked her mother to try to share food with each other and sit together to eat together then after that I asked her to support yarah that they both suppose to clean the spot together and to talk to her about being afraid of others then I told her that I made yarah help her friend to build a house from the blocks then I told her mother to be happy about what she did at the end I was taking some of the blocks so yarah can take her time to build the house together with her friend then we all could tell that she changed and she started loving to communicate with her friends the she started being not shy anymore and she shows how happy she were. After she finished her work she started loving to join other children. So with that being said continuous observation is so important so they way the children acts is important if the children is good or not.
