This week we learned about DBT. This is an open discussion on your thoughts on this modality. Some questions you could think about include: What do you like about the approach? Dislike? What do you think of the four modules? Are these skills you feel you could develop in your own life (most of us could) or how could you see them being useful to you? What about the idea of being on 24/7 availability to a client – is that something you’d do or not? What kind of clients can you imagine struggling with emotion regulation issues? What do you think of the idea of “vulnerability” or things that make us more reactive? Or feel free to comment on something completely different.
