Apply an evidence-based approach to obtain information, assess and inform the reader of the individualised understanding of your professional standards. In order to achieve this you must firstly obtain, read and reflect upon the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC) Standards of Proficiency and the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics or the NMC standards Your assignment should identify and discuss these how you will meet the standards and be suitably supported by academic references.
You should begin your assignment with a title, and an introduction to the role of the ODP relevant to the aim. The main body should be your understanding of the Standards It will be impossible for you to discuss all the standards in such a short assignment so choose three or four areas that you find particularly interesting.
