I will put here what my teacher sent as our Instruction “As for the paper or what I like to call the “commentary”, I use the term commentary, for the lack of a better one, well, so, possibly, you will realize you need to include your opinions and emotions on the subject selected. This paper needs to be 2000-3000 words in length. You will not be penalized for going over this length as with any of the posts. I like overachievers. The paper length is a big part of your paper’s grade. Visual Art papers only.  The commentary is basically a research paper with at least 3 resources (which MUST be listed at the end of your paper). The Internet is an acceptable source. You must cite your sources and list them at the end of your paper as well as your word count (echo). Part of this course is to gather knowledge learned and to apply this education in everyday situations. You may attach your paper. Do not copy and paste work from a website you are gathering your information from. I have actually received papers/postings with the links still within the body of the paper. This paper received a big fat egg. (0)  So… no links attached within the body of the paper. SAVE YOUR WORK! No Wikipedia or Encarta. Cite your sources within the content any way you feel comfortable with. (I prefer MLA) Plagiarism will not be tolerated. (echo) Depending on the severity of the offense (such as copy and paste another student’s posting) you could very well be dropped from the course or your grade will suffer greatly. If you are unaware of exactly what plagiarism is, check out plagiarism. org.  Include historical facts regarding the subject. If you have chosen a work of art describe the work using the elements of art and the principles of design as well as any other terminology you have learned in your book.”
