Health Care is a moral right, and everyone should have access to it. People in the Health Care field should not judge the person before them, they should aid them in whichever way needed. The reason for this is because health care is used to help people in need of medical assistance. It would not be morally right to deny anyone in need of care. Most of the time people are denied medical help due to their financial status or sometimes even because of their race/ethnicity. This is considered morally wrong and no one should suffer because of this. So, I believe health care should be accessible to anyone who needs it. According to Rawls, justice applies to the basic structure of society, and health care is part of that structure. (Pence, 2017)

In my opinion I believe that access to health care is a moral right. Many people have lost their lives due to not knowing that they had a chronic condition until it was late, and they ended up in the emergency department and then the hospital bill would be left unpaid just because they did not have health care and could not get checked up. In an experiment that was conducted by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality center it showed that compared to those who at least had private health insurance, the uninsured were least likely to report being in excellent health (National Center of Biotechnology Information, 2016). This is a prime example of why everyone should have access to health care.
