You must have paragraphs 1 and 2 in the CONCLUSION for the Genus and species identification; UNDERLINE and ITALICS FOR SCIENTIFIC NAMES! The 3rd paragraph of the label Conclusion should have interesting information about your unknown and relate it to a disease in the same Genus
Everything must be referenced minimum of 6 (Hicks, 2020).

Yours will be a lot less detailed: (A) A title page, (B) an introduction with aseptic and safety technique plus Koch’s postulates (ref textbook) saying why you’re doing unknown identification, (C) THE Table name (METHODS & DATA). We’re going to combine methods and data into 1 table using 6 columns. FIRST the tests names you ran – alphabetically, SECOND the lab guide reference page # from lab guide for each test (* reference the Lab Guide at bottom of table). THIRD your results for each test – Do NOT put things like KIA positive as it has three test results in one test – glucose lactose hydrogen sulfide & litmus milk has two casein and lactose etc.& IMViC has 4. FOURTH your 2 reference books each in a separate column – at least 2. Each is one separate column. Use 6th ed Bergeys, 7th, Systematic. All online. (D) Write a conclusion page with references. 1st paragraph what tests told you your Genus (ref key from Microwebsite and put the key into sentences. Second paragraph the other tests that showed your species. (Reference). Third paragraph describe who discovered it, named it, where it is usually and some disease related to it or some other species in the same GENUS. References 6 the microwebsite, lab guide, 2 Bergey’s, Google info etc. CHECK THE OLD PAPER TO See HOW each section is typed.
You may submit a perfect paper for Ptre-grading by upload or email as a Word attachment by 5/27.
