Utilizing what you have learned in this course, you will watch the assigned video and you will focus on one child for this observation.
You will record your Anecdotal notes on the observation form (be very specific noting exactly what you see the child doing or saying). If you see visual documentation in the video you may note what you see (for example: the child I observed painted a picture using red, green, blue. While painting he/she mixed the colors together. When the teacher asked about the child’s work, the child said…)

Using your anecdotal notes, you will rate at least 3 measures that fall under each of the following Domains (for a total of 12 measures):
Children are personally and socially competent – you will choose 3 measures from this domain that couldfall under any of the following measures: ALT-REG 1-7 or SED 1-5 or HSS 4,5
Children are effective learners – you will choose 3 measures from this domain that could fall under any of the following measures: LLD 1-10 or COG 1-11 or HSS 1-5 or VPA 1-4
Children show physical and motor competence – you will choose 3 measures from this domain that could fall under any of the following measures: PD-HLTH 1-10
Children are safe and healthy – you will choose 3 measures from this domain that could fall under any of the following measures: PD-HLTH 1-10
