Section 8 housing

This needs to be a cohesive document with part 1 and part 2 included. I want you identify at least two significant changes to section 8 housing that interest groups, members of congress, think tanks or intellectuals are proposing. Also includes political parties. Identify what are they proposing to change and what affect would it have on the program. This part needs to be described in detail. If there is a reform online that proposes the way something is funded or add additional funding or change the program design for example. I want to know very specificially how would that affect the program. would it increase eligibility, would it give addtional aid to certian people, change the means test or change the way the service is delivered. Whatever it is, I want in detail what happens to this program.
Then, I want an analysis of the politics of the proposed change. Analysis is an important word here. It is not an opinion. You have to make an argument based on the logic and evidence you lay out in part 2 of the paper, which details the politics of the program, of the politics of this reform. For example, if in part 2 you said program is supported by an interest group coalation eg., pell grants, college and universities. The reform would say cut out college and universities and allow private sector job training program to take money from pell grants. Your analysis might be that this dominant coaltion that currently supports pell grants will strongly oppose a change to the status quo. I do not want to read this paper thinking off of the top of your heads. This is not you giving your own personal opinion. This is based upon the political science that you have already researched in other parts.

Some guiding questions for you to think. Based on your analysis of the politics of the program in part 2, how successful do you predict these reformers will be? What obstacles will they likely face? Where might they find political support for their reforms? These are guiding questions for you to think.

TWO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO YOUR PROGRAMS. THERE IS TWO DIFFERENT WAYS YOU CAN ORGANIZE THIS. ONE IS YOU CAN ORGANIZE AROUND SPECIFIC CHANGES. FOR EXAMPLE A BILL THAT IS BEING PROPOSED. A REALLY DETAILED POLICY PROPOSAL THT SOMEONE HAS PROPOSED. OR YOU CAN ORGANIZE IT AROUND GROUPS OF CHANGES.THERE ARE A BUNCH OF POEPLE WHO ARE PROPOSING SIMILAR CHANGES. YOU CAN GROUP THEM TOGETHER AND SAY FOR EXAMPLE THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE NUTRITION STANDARDS SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM. YOU SHOULD BE SPECIFIC AND SAY THIS SENATOR IS PROPOSING THIS CHANGE AND THE INTEREST GROUP IS PROPOSING THIS CHANGE.THINK OF IT HAS ONE CHANGE BROUGHT TOGETHER. THE TWO CHANGES SHOULD BE DIFFERENT BUT DON’T GIVE ME TWO SPECIFIC BILL ABOUT LOWERING NUTRITION STANDARD FOR EXAMPLE. MAYBE A BILL ABOUT RAISING NUTRITIONAL STANDARS AND ONE ABOUT DECREASING NUTRITIONAL STANDARDS.THE PEOPLE WILL BE EASIER TO WRITE IF THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT REFORMS.
