SCENARIO:
You are in the first year of your employment in your professional career. You’re at the bottom of the ladder in your profession, and at your workplace. Your workplace has an employee gender demographic of around 55% male, 40% female, and 5% trans or other gender identity. Among managers, 80% are male.
While at work, you witness an interaction between a white male manager and a Latina female professional employee. The manager compliments the employee on her work on a project, then compliments the way she is dressed. He says he appreciates what she “brings to the company.” Then he winks at her and says, “You know what I mean.”
QUESTION:
Given the position you are in as described above, and with the gender and other marks of identity you yourself have, briefly analyze the situation, using the concepts from Unit 4. What would you believe is right to do in this situation? Would you do it?

SUGGESTIONS:
• Once you figure out your strategy for the paper, write brief summaries of the articles you
plan to use, then use those summaries as rough drafts for including the relevant parts in your paper (not the entire summaries, because the entire summary would not be relevant).
• Your paper should have a title that provokes interest and says something meaningful about the content of the paper.
• There is no wordcount or page number requirement, but as a guideline, expect the paper to need around 1000-1500 words (4-6 double-spaced pages of 12pt font)
• Use an appropriate font and don’t use freaking Arial because it’s an abomination
