Stress Management Course

The main purpose of the term paper is to give you an opportunity to demonstrate what
you have learned in this course about stressor identification and the application of
systematic interventions to reduce or eliminate the stressor. The paper has two main parts:
You must 1) summarize your growth throughout the semester and discuss how what you

have learned this semester applies to your life (you should write about anything
interesting from the textbook and also any themes you have noticed from your
assignments/exercises; however, you cannot simply copy and paste your responses to
the assignments/exercises). Then, you must 2) find at least one research article (peerreviewed and empirical) on a stress management intervention that interests you and
summarize and analyze it.

Papers should be at least 4 pages long (double spaced), not including the cover page and
references (an abstract is not needed). The paper must be written in Times New Roman,
size 12 font, with 1” margins, and in APA format (check out the resources below):

A recommended structure for the term paper is: Introduction and Growth Summary
(2pgs) and then Research Summary and Conclusion (2pgs). The full grading rubric for
